A new chapter of my Sci-Fi serial A Hundred Ascending — “Babies Vary” — is now live.
This week includes two major threads:
📘 Lisette’s Diary: Lisette reflects on life aboard the ship after three and a half years. She writes about raising Josie, the grief she still carries for her husband, the resentment she feels toward Karen, and the quiet fear that they may never see Earth again. Her diary reveals how captivity has reshaped relationships, trust, and the emotional core of the village.
👶 “Babies Vary”: The question of alien‑engineered parenthood is sprung on Ian and Samir after they decide they want a future together — and the Salolehs respond by creating their biological son, Ajay. The village reacts with joy, fear, and unease as the implications become clear: reproduction is not in human hands.
Meanwhile… medical analysis reveals reversed cellular aging in every adult. No one is growing older. Some are growing younger.
Why are the Salolehs preserving them? What future are these humans being prepared for?
New chapters every Tuesday. If the story resonates with you, share it — and help this universe grow.
